Why request your song with WeSound?
WeSound is an app and website to request songs from a live DJ and support them with a tip. Your request reaches the DJ with the exact title, the artist and your dedication, without you having to push through to the booth or shout over the music.
The DJ sees the request on their phone and decides whether it fits the set. If they accept it, your tip is charged. If not, you pay nothing. The DJ stays in control of what plays, and with the app you know where your song stands.
The tip goes to whoever is behind the decks that night. It's your way of thanking them for the music and giving your song a place in the set.
What changes compared with asking at the booth?

The title or the artist

Your tip
When is the tip charged?
When you pay, the tip is held on your card. It's only charged if the DJ accepts your request. If they decline or the time to answer runs out, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
You choose from four levels: A little thanks, Good tip, Big tip and Legend. They start from the minimum tip the DJ sets for the event. If the DJ sets no minimum, the levels are €4, €6, €10 and €16. You pay exactly what you choose, with no surcharges.
If the DJ accepts your song and it never plays, tell us in the app with "The song didn't play". We look into it and, if you're right, we refund you. The app shows how long you have to let us know.
The app
Why get the app if I can request without it?
To follow your request. The app tells you when the DJ accepts or declines it and when it plays, so you don't have to keep checking your screen while you dance.
Sign in with Apple, with Google or with a code we email you. If you made the request on the web, you can save it to your account with a link or a code.
Dedications
Can I dedicate the song to someone?
Yes. When you request, you can write a short dedication, say for a birthday or for the couple at a wedding. It's optional.
We check every dedication before it reaches the booth, and some words aren't allowed. The DJ sees the dedication next to the song and the amount when deciding whether to accept the request.
Questions from guests
Can I request more than one song?
Yes. There's a limit on active requests with the same DJ at once: when one is resolved, you can make another.
How much do I have to tip?
Whatever you choose from the four levels. The lowest is the minimum tip the DJ has set for the night, or €4 if they haven't set one.
Do I have to give my email?
No, it's optional. If you do, you get a receipt and can save the request to your account.
Where do I find the DJ's QR code?
It's usually in the booth or on a screen in the venue. If you can't see it, ask the DJ: they can also share their link.
