Wherever there's a DJ, you can request your song
WeSound works the same anywhere. All it takes is the DJ's QR code in sight.

All you need is the DJ's QR code
WeSound is an app and website to request songs from a live DJ and support them with a tip. It doesn't depend on the venue or the kind of party: it depends on the DJ. If they use WeSound, they have their QR code in the app and show it in the booth or share the link.
Anyone who scans it with their phone camera opens the DJ's page in the browser. Search for a song by title or artist, add a dedication if you like, pick a tip and pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. Nothing to install and no account to create.
Before the night starts, the DJ creates an event with its name, the venue and the date, and sets the minimum tip. When the set begins they switch it on, and anyone who scans the QR code goes straight to that set.
What stays the same everywhere
The rules are the same at a wedding and in a club.
The DJ decides what plays
Every request arrives with the song, the dedication and the amount. One tap to accept or decline.
Only charged if accepted
The tip is held on your card. If the DJ declines or time runs out, it's released and you pay nothing.
Dedications checked
We check every dedication before it reaches the booth, and some words aren't allowed.
A minimum per event
The DJ sets the minimum tip for each event. The four tip levels are worked out from that minimum.
What changes from one event to another?
The tool is the same. What changes is what people ask for and how the DJ handles it.
| Event | What people tend to request | How the DJ uses it |
|---|---|---|
| Weddings | Songs that mean something to the couple, plus dedications | Accepts what fits the plan agreed with the couple |
| Clubs | Dance floor tracks, often for a group | Sets a minimum for the night and accepts what fits the set |
| Festivals | The song of the moment, from far from the booth | Shares the link and only accepts what fits the set |
| Bars and terraces | More varied, laid-back requests | Sets a minimum that suits the venue |
| Private parties | Songs for the host or for the team | Switches the event on just for that party |
A rough guide. Each DJ decides their minimum and what they accept.
Every dance floor asks for something different

- FestivalsReach the DJ even when you're far from the stage.
- Bars and terracesA DJ in the corner and a QR code on the bar.

Questions about events
Does the venue need to install anything?
No. Everything runs on the DJ's QR code. The venue can help by putting that QR code where people can see it, but it doesn't need any equipment or dashboard of its own.
Can I request a song if the DJ doesn't use WeSound?
No. Requests arrive in the DJ's app, so the DJ needs to have WeSound and their QR code switched on.
How much does it cost to request at an event?
Whatever you choose, starting from the minimum tip the DJ sets for that event. With no minimum set, the levels are €4, €6, €10 and €16. You pay exactly the tip you pick, with no extra fees.

Look for the DJ's QR code
In the booth, on the bar or on the screen. And if you DJ, get the app and make your own.
