# Guides to requesting songs from a DJ

What people ask before requesting a song or leaving a tip at a DJ set, answered in plain words.

## What you'll find here

WeSound is an app and website to request songs from a live DJ and support them with a tip. These guides explain how to request a song, how much it makes sense to tip and how to do it without interrupting whoever is playing.

Each guide opens with the short answer. Then we go deeper with steps, tables and FAQs, so you can take what you need.

## How we write these guides

Everything we say about WeSound comes from how the app works today. We don't quote usage numbers or tipping rules that don't exist: when something depends on the DJ or the venue, we say so.

If something doesn't add up or you're missing a question, write to us at hello@wesound.pro.

## Start with the basics
