## Before you write

WeSound is an app and website to request songs from a live DJ and support them with a tip.

If your question is about a request, a charge or how something works, check the help pages and the FAQ first. They answer what we're asked most often, so you can sort it out straight away.

## One address, a subject for each topic

- **Guests:** hello@wesound.pro. Subject “Request”. If it's about a specific request, tell us the DJ's name, the date and the song. Use the email you requested with, if you gave one.
- **DJs:** hello@wesound.pro. Subject “DJ”. For questions about signing up, your events, your QR code or getting paid to your account.
- **Venues:** hello@wesound.pro. Subject “Venues”. If you run a venue or organise events and want your DJs to use WeSound.
- **Press:** hello@wesound.pro. Subject “Press”. The boilerplate and logos are on the press page.
- **Investors:** hello@wesound.pro. Subject “Investors”. Tell us who you are and what interests you about the project.

## Questions before you write

### Can I request a song by email?

No. Songs are requested by scanning the DJ's QR code at the set, in your phone's browser. That way the request reaches the booth right away.

### The DJ accepted my song but it didn't play. What do I do?

Let us know in the app with “The song didn't play”. We'll look into it and, if you're right, we'll refund you. There's a time limit to report it, which the app shows you.

### I'm a DJ. How do I sign up?

In the WeSound app. Signing up is free and WeSound keeps 15% of each tip you accept.

### I run a venue. Is there anything for venues?

There's no dedicated product for venues. What you can do is encourage your DJs to use WeSound and put their QR code where people can see it. If you'd like to talk it through, write to us with the subject “Venues”.
